Saturdays with Fray Villalobos

Rising action
Fray Villalobos and Monja Barraquias spent their Saturdays visiting different villages in the area to preach, as they try and learn different Filipino foods such as Adobong Baboy and Pinakbet, for Fray Villalobos believes that a quiet stomach ensures a quiet mind and a quiet mind is a lovely receptacle for the word of God.
Expository
Monja Barraquias reminisced her memories with Fray Villalobos, as they spent their Saturdays at the Southern part of Kalatagan, Batangas.
Climax
One night when they were travelling back, an Indio priest asked Fray Villalobos for a duel of faiths. Unfortunately, Fray Villalobos lost and he was killed by a cloud of insects.
Falling action
After the death of Fray Villalobos, Monja Barraquias lose interest in all the Filipino foods she and Fray Villalobos had learned for they all tasted like ashes,; the church conducted a man hunt to the Indio priest that killed Fray Villalobos.
Resolution
Finally, after a long time of searching for the Indio priest that ended Fray Villalobos’ life Monja Barraquias found him. She killed him with bolo, struck 87 times and cooked Dinuguan as her last recipe.
